 Tucson At The Tuxon

(And More!)

After our days at Campground Glamis North, we headed to Tucson! We got in late, but decided to spring for a fancy hotel called The Tuxon. It had a really cool vibe, and I thought that we were all going have the best sleep ever, but my mom said that she sleeps way better in Charlene. Oh well, it was my first time booking a hotel, after all.

The next morning my dad had to work, and we wrote our blog posts, but all Annalee and I wanted to do was swim! There was a giant heated pool that we got to swim in after we finished our posts! We had to hurry because we were checking out that morning though. 

On our way out of town, we went to check out a street fair! It was really cool, and we got jewelry made out of coins! Mine is a necklace that has an octopus stamped into a penny! 

Also at the street fair, we got lunch. I got some street corn and we headed on the road towards Catalina State Park! It was a pretty drive, but the best part of the day was still getting my necklace! 

When we arrived in Catalina State Park, my mom, dad, and sister went for a quick mountain bike ride while I stayed back. I had a blast with Ziggy, The box of mini cheese sandwich crackers that we had picked up from Trader Joes, and the book A Lesbianas Guide To Catholic School. 

Apparently, they had a great time too! They watched the sunset at a beautiful spot and it was a relatively easy trail that was more of a sand loop!

That next morning, we headed off to, what we thought was a dog friendly ride, but apparently Ziggy isn't as smart as we thought. He kept getting cactus stuck to him! Poor Puppy! It turned out the riding was above our skill level, but the views were incredible!

Annalee used her full finger gloves to get the cacti off her little brother, but they wouldn't come off her!

We stopped and walked a lot because it was so hard.

We got some great shoots with the cacti!

After we were all showered and changed, we went to a restaurant close by and they made excellent cocktails and mocktails.

They also had a music wall, with Miley Cyrus in the middle!

Oh yeah! Girl Boss!!

Next, we headed towards White Sands!!
