Thanksgiving in Wichita Falls #6
Wichita Falls, TX
After leaving Hot Springs, AR we made our way to Wichita Falls, Texas to visit with family for Thanksgiving. We arrived Wednesday night, and my aunt Debbie was hosting a home made pizza party to welcome us. The next morning was Thanksgiving. Stella was dared by my mom to take a dip in the freezing cold pool luckily there was a hot shower waiting for her!
.
Once we all took showers we drove in the golf cart to Susan's house to have Thanksgiving. Susan is my Aunt's childhood best friend; they grew up next door to each other and still live around the corner from one another, I call her Cookie. After we finished eating the amazing food that Susan made we decided to chill in her hot tube. That night we played a dice game called Left Right Center.

The next day our aunt Debbie took us shopping in downtown Wichita Falls. THANKYOU DEBBIE! After that we snuck into a high school football game to see what Texas football is all about. Then we went to see the Christmas lights around town. On the last day we went biking at the mountain bike trails close to Debbie's house. There were a lot of cool features including a bike see-saw and a moving bridge. The trails were very flowy and fun with lots of turns. Later that day we went to say our goodbyes. We drove over to Susan's in the golf cart and she let us pick out nail polishes and then we hade to go. We drove back and started Charlene up and away we went. all the way to Palo Duro Canyon in TX.

Thanksgiving in Wichita: looks like y'all had a good time with Debbie and Todd and their friends. How did Texas Friday night football compare with Northampton soccer? The shots of you riding on the trails with the seesaw and the moving bridge look very cool. Amazing how there are biking trails everywhere this could be a travel guide for mountain bikers.
