Palm Springs and campground Glamis North on the Salton Sea #12

 

After Joshua Tree NP, we got a quick lunch in Joshua Tree town and made our way south to a campground called Salton Sea. Before we got there we stopped in Palm Springs and saw a little bit of the town and had a ice cream then stopped at our uncles' favorite restaurant and my parents had a bite to eat well we kept Ziggy company. 
My sister and I posed as Marilyn Monroe, as seen in the Palm Springs Town Square. We had different interpretations of the statue, and we were laughing pretty hard, that's why we look slightly different in the picture.

Once we got to our campground we took a dip in the hot springs and headed to bed. We didn't realize until morning that the campground looked like it was in the middle of the Apocalypse! The next day we took a trip to go ATVing and high centered the razor! (Its okay and were okay) Afterward we decided to take a dip in the pool and then hightailed it out of there. GOODBYE APOCALYPSE!

Biking in Bentonville #4

Biking in Bentonville Nov 16th-18th  Well this post is going to cover several days of biking; we've been so busy biking and so tired after, we haven't gotten to post about it yet at all, but needless to say the riding in Bentonville is amazing! There is a big trail network with lots of sections.  We have had Randy's truck so for the first two days of riding we drove to trail heads. The first day we rode Slaughter Pen. The trails were super flowy and fun.  We ended up at a big castle at the top of that section.  While we were riding, we would stop and see lots of sculptures and other kinds of art. Some were even made out of old bike parts! We enjoyed the hot tub that night, and some nice, homecooked food.  The next day, we rode at Coler Bike Park, we started off by climbing to the trail junction called, "the hub".
